Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I am so thankful for today. I not only got to spend time with my husband, but also my entire family. After eating our Thanksgiving lunch, I decided to take a few pictures of my nephew. I am planning a baby shower for my sister, and I thought these could be a few accents for the tables.

Homecoming.... It's finally here!
Wow! I cannot believe I have not blogged in over a month. There has been TOO much going on. We were blessed when Justin came home last month, and we have been on the go since. I forgot to update with pictures from his homecoming, but finally here they are.
Waiting for the plane to arrive. I apologize for the crazy hair. We had to wait in the HOT hanger for 6 hours, but it was TOTALLY worth it.
Proud Moms
Our first embrace after 7 months!
A hint to all the military wives: DON'T put your cell phone in your back pocket before the plane arrives. Oh well, it still was a special moment.
We were interviewed for the local news station.
Our family excited to have our hero home.
Poor little sister, she got recruited to carry his bag.
This was such a special day, and I am thankful he is HOME! I am also very thankful for the local printing company who printed my signs. I designed these signs, and they were able to print them at a rush and discounted price. I am so thankful for places that are willing to support our heroes.

Here is the completed photobook project. I can't believe I got it for such a great deal. I ended up paying only $7.99, which was only shipping. Shutterfly is a great program to use for the beginners at creating photobooks. It gave me so many great ideas and suggestions! I highly recommend this site!

And the Party Planning Begins...
I am getting WAYYYY too excited about my husband's homecoming. Everything I see and do relates back to him coming home. To keep myself occupied, I have really focused on planning his welcome home party. Even though he doesn't particularly want a welcome home party, I think it would be the easiest way to see everyone.
Recently, I made a set of corn hole boards for my friend's wedding thus sparking my idea to create some Air Force ones for my hunny. The boy loves corn hole, and it definitely was a huge hit at his going away party.
I know most men are not the best at following directions, but I will post the links to directions below. This is a pretty simple process, and only takes about 15 minutes to assemble. Such an easy and fun project.

I want.... I need... a Silhouette Cameo
Any crafter knows that one must own a Silhouette Cameo. I have been trying to win one of these for months now! I mean just think of all of the AMAZING things one can make. The possibilities are endless. Too bad my money supply is not. For now, a girl can dream. If anyone feels like having an amazing giveaway and wants to choose me, I will be more than willing to accept your generosity. :)
We Miss You
"I miss Mr. Justin" is the phrase I have been hearing lately. Justin has gone to all of my students' sporting events over the years and they are used to seeing him yelling for our awesome teams. It has been so different going to the sporting events this year. I am so glad he will be home for his favorite season, basketball season! It does not make it any easier to go to the other events without him though. He is such a special part of my life, and he means a lot to my students as well. I had a kid from previous years tell my class today, "Y'all just wait until you meet her husband, he is so funny. He is the best!" It is so sweet to hear the kids say things like this, because it shows how much it means to them that we support their dreams.
This is a picture from the first football game of the year. I am so glad Justin will be home to at least make it to one game this year. And I couldn't be more excited!
